Where Zoola came from
Lambda Learning started as a services business, helping organizations run open-source learning platforms. One request kept coming back: better reporting on training.
Zoola Analytics grew out of those requests. It was built around the way Moodle and Totara structure learning data, instead of being adapted from a general BI tool, and it grew because customers stayed.
What we do
Zoola gives L&D, compliance and LMS teams pre-built dashboards, no-code reports and security that follows the LMS.
Behind it is Lambda Learning, which also hosts, implements and supports Moodle and Totara and runs Lambda Store for course commerce. When a reporting question is really an LMS question, the same company can answer it.
The team
Four leaders, backed by a small team of engineers, implementers, designers and support specialists, many with ten or more years at Lambda Learning.
Shevy LevyShevy founded the company in 2002 and has led it ever since, building a cloud-based, open-source learning platform on Moodle and Totara that supports more than half a million learners every day across healthcare, education and corporate training. She holds an M.Sc. from Simon Fraser University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Technion.
Naama SireniNaama owns revenue and go-to-market strategy, with a track record of building go-to-market engines from scratch and closing six-figure ARR deals in B2B enterprise SaaS. She brings 12+ years across operations, services and sales leadership, holds an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and mentors women entrepreneurs.
Ilana BinenbaumIlana is often the first person customers talk to. She starts by listening, shapes plans around goals and budget, and guides customers through launches, upgrades and renewals, drawing on years of helping healthcare organizations, associations and training providers make Moodle and Totara decisions.
Sam McCulloughSam runs client-facing operations and leads the support team. In more than a decade with the company he has grown from application support specialist to director. He holds an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential and a Business Information Technology diploma from BCIT.
What we believe
We build on open platforms so customers own their data, their content and their way out.
Setup, hosting and support are part of the job, not an upsell.
In a specialized market, deep Moodle and Totara expertise matters more than scale.
Long customer relationships say more than any marketing claim.
